Our Gold Standard

Donaldson’s Air Purification System (APS) is the gold standard in cabin filtration and has been selected by Boeing for its flagship 787 Dreamliner.  The APS’ combination of a High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter with a carbon-based chemical filter ensures that the 787’s more comfortable cabin air remains remarkably clean of irritants and free of odors, meeting the highest customer standards. The Technical University of Denmark (DTU), in a study, evaluated Donaldson APS technology alongside UV-photo-catalytic systems for Boeing where quantitative and qualitative results were collected. From that study, Donaldson APS technology was chosen as the best option because of its performance, including that it did not generate unwanted by-products. Read more about the study here: DTU Study
