DONALDSON NAMES MATT FORTUNA AS DIRECTOR, DEFENSE GROUND VEHICLE BUSINESS SEGMENT

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., April 30, 2014 – Donaldson Aerospace & Defense, a division of Donaldson Company Inc. (NYSE: DCI), has named Matt Fortuna Director of its Defense Ground Vehicle business segment.

An 18-year Company veteran, Fortuna is leading a new team responsible for developing and executing the Company’s strategic plan for defense ground vehicles. He began his career at Donaldson as a Project Engineer, then as the Engineering Manager for Donaldson’s Aguascalientes, Mexico, facility. Fortuna subsequently worked in various leadership roles within the Semiconductors and Disc Drive segments of the Company, most recently as Director of Engineering.

Fortuna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
